Hydrofoil
Air Chair - Sky Ski - Foil Tech in Thailand
You have seen it, now is your chance to try it.
Hydrofoliling is not new to skiing, and it first got it's start back in the 1950 at Cypress Gardens mounted foils on 2 skis. Today's "Air Chair" or "Sky Ski" have taken this a whole new direction.
Learning to get up normally takes about 15 minutes to master, and then the 2nd set on the chair the learning curve speeds up. If you can get up on 2 skis or a wakeboard, you can give the hydrofoil a try.
Once you are up and ridding on the foil, the ski glides above the water and the waves. This gives a very unique feeling of flying across the water. Lean forward and you go down, lean backwards and you go up.
Bad Knees?
Many former skiers and wakeboarders that still want the joy of jumping, without the bashing on their knees have taken up hydrofoiling. Lean back, and you jump. Increase your speed and learn back a little more, you jump higher.
